W.O.Grubb recently used a Manitowoc MLC300 lattice boom crawler crane to replace an industrial lime kiln at a plant in Wilmington, North Carolina.
A Manitowoc MLC300 crawler crane is constructing a new hotel at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. The sales manager for the job, said that the 330 USt MLC300 was the best choice for the job thanks to the low ground bearing pressure made possible by its Variable Positioning Counterweight (VPC).

When it launched its Crane Control System (CCS) in 2014, Manitowoc became the first manufacturer to introduce a common operating platform across multiple product lines. The company included the technology on each new model it developed and at bauma 2016 9 of the 15 cranes on display will include CCS.
There are five Grove all-terrain cranes currently at the Manitowoc booth at bauma 2016, including the new GMK5150L, which is being launched at the show; the two most recent introductions, the GMK5250L and the GMK4100L-1; the GMK6400, one of the most popular six-axle cranes in the world; and the GMK3060, which was unveiled three years ago at bauma 2013.
