A-Quick Pick Crane Service Inc, a second-generation family-owned crane, rigging, trucking and storage company, has recently expanded their fleet with one of Grove’s newest all-terrain cranes, the Grove GMK5250XL-1.
Manitowoc is expanding its boom insert offering with the new Wide Boom Plus kit for its MLC300 lattice-boom crawler crane. The new inserts will give crane operators extra reach by lengthening their booms up to 429.8 ft (131 m) when used in combination with the VPC-MAX® and extended upper boom points. They will be particularly useful for assembling wind turbines.
Check out Aetna Bridge using a GRT8100 to hoist up supply materials to the access platforms for the painters on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge Project down in the New London/ Groton, CT area. This crane also assisted in building the access platforms for the iron workers and painters performing the repairs to the bridge.
