Shawmut Equipment of Canada, Inc. is proud to announce that we will be opening an additional facility in the Elmsdale Business Park located in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia. This will serve as our headquarters in the Maritime provinces of Canada.

When it launched its Crane Control System (CCS) in 2014, Manitowoc became the first manufacturer to introduce a common operating platform across multiple product lines. The company included the technology on each new model it developed and at bauma 2016 9 of the 15 cranes on display will include CCS.

There are five Grove all-terrain cranes currently at the Manitowoc booth at bauma 2016, including the new GMK5150L, which is being launched at the show; the two most recent introductions, the GMK5250L and the GMK4100L-1; the GMK6400, one of the most popular six-axle cranes in the world; and the GMK3060, which was unveiled three years ago at bauma 2013.
