Shawmut Equipment of Canada, Inc. is proud to announce that we will be opening an additional facility in the Elmsdale Business Park located in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia. This will serve as our headquarters in the Maritime provinces of Canada. Additionally, we will continue to serve our customers out of our existing facility located in Saint John, New Brunswick, which was opened in July of 2008.
The new location offers easy access to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where our business is continually expanding, as well as a direct entrance onto Highway 102. We will be located minutes from the Halifax airport, increasing convenience and decreasing travel times to the shop. Shawmut serves customers in a large geographic area. The new location will allow for quick technician dispatch when customers are experiencing problems, as well as expedited shipping times for parts orders. This will improve the time it takes us to react to customers unexpected breakdowns, resulting in more machine uptime.
The brand-new, state-of-the-art facility will be equipped with multiple repair bays, as well as diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot quickly and offer correct solutions for our customers. All our technicians are factory-trained with years of experience on the equipment they service. The facility will also offer additional warehousing for parts to get shipments to our customers quickly and at the lowest cost.
Construction is expected to be completed by Spring of 2017!
South Easton, MA (March 4, 2024) - Shawmut Equipment is proud to announce that Ben Siemen has been appointed as Vice President of Sales. He will be primarily responsible for the National Crane and Manitou product lines.
Having joined Shawmut Equipment in 2014, Siemen has established strong relationships with numerous customers. His extensive knowledge of Shawmut's products and his prompt responses to customer requests have made him a valuable member of the sales team.
